Royal Oak School Playground!

We are still looking for volunteers for Saturday June 1st! If you are over 18 and would like to help out with this project please email us at: ROPlaygroundcommittee@gmail.com

The ground/site prep work has begun! Once the site is ready we will build the playground structure. We have booked Friday May 31st to Sunday June 2nd as our "build weekend" so mark your calendars. We will be looking for 40 - 50 people per day, no experience necessary (must be 18 yrs or older). The final ground work (ie: Pour-n-Place rubber pad, repairing sod where required, etc) will be finished by mid-June.

We are still in need of tools for the build weekend. Please email us if you are able to loan/donate any of the required items.

Middle School Approved!!!

It is very exciting that our community has received approval for a Middle School by the Provincial Government! We would like to thank all those who supported and campaigned for this school over the last 3 years. There have been numerous letter, email and phone campaigns, a town hall meeting, and an online petition. Our community worked together for 3 years to achieve a common goal. That is a pretty amazing thing!
